An Interesting Day

I’m sure it’s obvious now how into I am about Faeries and things the Universe lines up for me.  I’m also into Spirit Animals and stuff like that too, although I don’t know as much about that (but of course I have books about them!)

Anyway, yesterday I was standing on the deck here “doing bubbles” (yep, the soapy kind) and I felt something on my leg.  It was a moth!  I’ve seen a bunch of them here and now that I’m typing about them I looked it up and I’m pretty sure it’s a CA Oak Moth.  As it turns out, according to my spirit animal book, moths represent transformation.

And then later that day I was on a Zoom call with some friends, and I had the front door open a crack.  Next thing I know a bird sped past me INSIDE THE HOUSE!  I wasn’t sure if it was actually in the house (there’s a window and I thought maybe I just saw it outside) but sure enough, I turned around and the bird was speeding back towards me.  It kind of hit a window (luckily it was okay) and  I jumped up and put a blanket over it.  I could feel it thru the blanket so I gently picked it up and turned to open the front door.  It’s head was sticking out and next thing I knew he flew out of the blanket into the powder room!  Luckily the powder room is right next to the front door so I opened the door wide and the bird flew out.  Whew!

In the spirit animal book, Sparrows (which is what I think this was) are connected to the Divine, higher thoughts and ideals, and seeing one means I’m striving to connect to my own spiritual self at a higher level.  Which is pretty much why I’m here in Carmel.  Pretty wyrd but cool, eh?

No photos this time but I’ll have more soon.  Talk soon!
