What??!

I had brunch with a friend the other day.  We went to a place that has outdoor seating, but no ‘barriers’ around it.

She went inside to check on our order, and I noticed a somewhat raggedy man walking into the area.  I watched him because my friend left her wallet on the table.

He walked up and said, “Is now a good time to join you?”

I said no.  He noticed the items on the table (and her sweater on the back of the chair) and said, “Oh, yeah, I see you have somebody already joining you.”

And then he strolled away.

Anyway, friend Angus came to visit me at the end of January so we did a little sight seeing, hitting Point Lobos, Big Sur (specifically Bixby Bridge and Nepenthe), places around Carmel, including a concert at the Sunset Center – Live at Lincoln Center Jazz, The Monterey Aquarium, and some general driving around the area.  Here are a bunch of photos: Continue reading “More Catching Up”
