I’m got takeout dinner twice this week. The first order was a shrimp salad sandwich with a side of tater tots and a beet salad.
I got home and then my phone rang.
“Hi, this is the restaurant. Can you check and see if you have your sandwich?”
Sure, I said, let me look. Yep, there’s a sandwich in the bag.
“Um, can you look IN the sandwich?”
Uh, sure, hold on …
“Is there any shrimp in there?”
No, there isn’t!
“Um, do you want to come back and get the shrimp?”
Can you deliver it to me?
“We don’t do delivery”
Okay, I’ll come back, but can you give some extra tater tots for my trouble?
“Sure!”
So I got a bunch more tater tots!
Then today I went to a different restaurant and they forgot to put the salmon on my salmon caesar! Luckily they caught it before I left the restaurant!
