A Lot Going On

I have been planning to sell my house for a while and it seemed like now was just the right time so I got things moving.  I had to fly to the house and start cleaning and purging.  I bought a one-way ticket so I wouldn’t feel stressed by the timing.

I got to the house on April 26.  Met with the realtor (and signed papers) on April 27.  Met with the moving coordinator, got the quote and signed papers on April 29.  Movers to show up May 14-15.  Had some electrical things that needed to be checked on – scheduled them for April 30.

The electrical person had to postpone the appointment to 2 days later.  As it turned out that was perfect, because one of the smoke alarms started chirping later in the day on the day they were supposed to have come, so now they could fix the smoke alarm too.  I just had to ignore it for about 24 hours.  I got used to it.  Also was reminded of a couple other things that needed to be done.  Everything was done in a half hour on the day they came.  Perfect!

The driveway was supposed to be seal-coated the week the movers were to come pick up my stuff.   This would have been problematic because the movers used the driveway to stage everything.  As it turns out, the seal-coating was postponed to the following week.  Perfect!

I used a Facebook Group, “Buy Nothing” to give a lot of things away.  I really connected with one woman, Robyn.  She came to pick up some things and “tablecloth” popped in my head.  She was getting ready to leave and I said, ‘hold on a sec’ and went and grabbed a tablecloth that I had – red and white gingham.  She exclaimed, ‘I was looking for one of these for the window display I’m doing up like a picnic!!’  Perfect!

After the movers left, I decided to go into town and do a little shopping.  Started feeling hungry and ended up going into a restaurant that had their official opening that day!  The manager came over to thank me for coming in and shook my hand.  He apologized for his weak handshake and said he had a pinched nerve in his shoulder blade.  I asked him if he wanted me to do Reiki on him and he said ‘what’s that?’  I explained it to him and did the Reiki on him and he said he was kind of freaked out by what he was feeling but he felt much better.  Perfect!

After I left the beach area I spent the night in a hotel at the airport the night before my morning flight.  I went to the hotel bar after settling in, to get a snack and a glass of wine.  Two women came in and seemed to be in a rush to order (one had to go to the bathroom) so I gave them my tablet menu and explained it to them.  Ended up talking with them a little bit.  Then the bartender told me they picked up my tab!  I thanked them profusely and one of them said, ‘you were very nice to us when we needed it.’  She was having some nerve pain too so I ended up doing Reiki on her too.  Perfect!

I had a car service pick me up at the airport when I arrived.  The guy was standing with a sign that said “T. Angel.”  I felt like that was probably me but I wasn’t sure so I texted him to see where my person was.  He said he was walking toward baggage claim.  It turns out I was T. Angel!  He said he didn’t know why it said that.  Perfect!

So many things in alignment.  So grateful!  Perfect!
