It’s been a “minute” since my last post. I’ve been a bit busy trying to sell my house in Delaware (and settlement was July 26! All done!). It was pretty stressful trying to get all the paperwork together and getting all the stuff done to get the house ready for the new homeowners, but we got it all done. Whew! Chakra Reading
I had a Chakra reading done on me recently. Booked it online. Never met the woman in person. All I gave her was my name, phone number, and email. Paid via Pay Pal. Continue reading “Chakra Reading”
Yet Another Surprise
One night last week I was watching TV when I received a message on Facebook (FB) messenger. I looked at it and it was from my work friend Jenna, who I haven’t talked in quite a while. It should come as no surprise at this point, but I had been thinking about her! Continue reading “Yet Another Surprise”
Opening My Rosebud Salve
I’ve had an unopened tin of Rosebud Salve for a while now (lip balm). It travelled with me out to CA and went through several temperature changes. So, it apparently melted a little bit. So, I could not get it OPEN!!!! Continue reading “Opening My Rosebud Salve”
Neurographica Manifestation and Detox!
I had been feeling “thick around the middle” for a while, and kind of had resigned myself to “this is what it’s like at ‘your age’.” But, I did a second Neurographica workshop a few weeks ago and decided to draw a manifestation drawing. One of the things I wanted to manifest was losing weight/inches.

After driving cross-country (and eating out the whole time) and then arriving in Carmel and staying in AirBnBs (and not cooking as much as I could have), and just generally developing not the best eating habits, it was time to make a change.
Neurographica
I tried out a new thing at a 2-hr workshop the other week – Neurographica. Continue reading “Neurographica”
I Won A Painting! (and heard some great classical music)
The Bach Festival was here in Carmel for the last 2 weeks of July. I went to 3 different concerts over the course of those weeks. The first one I went to was on my birthday – “Into The Light: Songs of Beginnings.” This one was held at All Saints Church – walking distance away! Continue reading “I Won A Painting! Road Trip Spring 2021 – Part 3 – East Lansing MI to Cedar MI
While I was planning my route to get to Cedar from East Lansing, I noticed a sculpture garden that is in Grand Rapids, so I decided to stop in there on my way. Actually, it was a little bit out of my way, but I decided to stop in anyway – it got great reviews online. It’s called the Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park. Here’s a link: https://www.meijergardens.org/ Continue reading “Road Trip Spring 2021 – Part 3 – East Lansing MI to Cedar MI”
Road Trip Spring 2021 – Part 2 – Warren OH to East Lansing MI
So, the next morning I went down to the cafeteria at the hotel. It was “grab n go” but somebody was there to do the grabbing for you. So, I got a coffee and an egg and cheese sandwich (if I remember right it was Jimmy Dean. Not the best, but, it served the purpose). The coffee was good though.
Found a water machine to fill up my water bottles, got all the stuff back into the car, set the GPS and off I went. Continue reading “Road Trip Spring 2021 – Part 2 – Warren OH to East Lansing MI”
Road Trip Spring 2021 – Part 1 – Home to Warren OH
Yeah, welp, it’s been quite a while since I posted here. Sorry about that! I guess I really didn’t feel like I had much to post about. I have done some paintings in between and perhaps I will post about them later, but, I do want to document my road trip before I forget more things.
So, in a previous post or two I’ve mentioned River, with whom I had a Tarot reading back in October. As it turns out, he became my Spiritual Coach and we’ve been working together on that since October, meeting once a week via Zoom. A few months ago we talked about meeting up in person, and in the last month or so we decided that the latter part of May would be a good time to do so. My 2 weeks after being fully vaccinated was up on May 3 so the timing felt right. Continue reading “Road Trip Spring 2021 – Part 1 – Home to Warren OH”
Out of the Blue
Out of the blue I received an email from someone who works at David Zwirner Galleries, who came across my blog while doing research about Yayoi Kusama (it was my 5th Post about my So Cal trip, where I saw Yayoi Kusama’s exhibit at The Broad). She requested that I add a link to their web page. I checked it out and there is a lot of great contemporary art with a lot of detailed info about many, many artists including Yayoi Kusama. Check it out!! Spend a day perusing the galleries!

If you’re looking to try something new, I came across this video that has himalayan singing bowls. Try it!

It’s about 11 minutes long.
Breathe deep, relax, and enjoy!
The Stranger
I have a subscription to the Sunday New York Times. One of my favorite things to read are the ‘By The Book’ interviews in the Book Review section. In that section authors are interviewed and one of the questions is usually what book should every person read. Continue reading “The Stranger”
Potatoes can be toxic?? Really?
So, I bought a bag of yukon gold potatoes a few weeks ago. I cooked some and had some leftover that I didn’t cook. The other day I thought, “I should cook these before they get too old.” So I made mashed potatoes, including a few carrots I needed to use up too. I always keep the skins on since they have a lot of vitamins. Continue reading “Potatoes can be toxic?? Really?”
