A compendium of adventures and other nonsense
I just video called with a friend who lives in Geneva, Switzerland. Last time I saw her was … hm, early 1990’s?? We both think we ‘haven’t changed at all’ and we’re making plans to travel together!!
In the meantime here is a gratuitous shot of the new fountain display at Longwood Gardens. The bright bits in front of the colored big part are flames!
After a fun weekend continuing “Terrifest,” it is Monday morning, and I didn’t have to get up for work. How awesome is that! Watched a great movie last night – “The Sea of Trees” (I highly recommend it) and am getting a massage today.
Kenn and I spent some time on the beach yesterday too!

Hey kids! I am officially retired! Here is Kenn walking out with me from my office at Exelon. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to rotate this photo (I tried in WP but I keep getting an error, and I’ve rotated photos outside of WP but they still come in sideways), but you get the idea. I should have time on my hands now to figure things out! Yee haaawwww!!
UPDATE: Obviously I have now figured out to make ‘portrait’ photos show up in the correct format!
Oh, and my official retirement date was July 28, 2017. I created the blog on May 23 and created something, but didn’t publish it til later, so that’s why it has a May date. But you all figured that out already anyway!
