OK, so, last post I said I was going to try to make a Christmas Tree out of hangers.
Here is Phase 1 – 6 hangers:

I had to go to Lowe’s to get pellets for the pellet stove, and all of their Christmas decor was half off, so, I got a couple garlands. Here is Phase 2:

And now, Phase 3!

And then, since I now have a better looking tree, I decided to see if I could fix the branch tree I made previously. I’m including the photos from the last post too so you can see the difference!
Here is the new final product!

I have it hanging by the front door.
Here’s the previous failure for comparison:

I trimmed all of the branches so the scale was smaller and some of the curved branches weren’t quite so curvy. Much better!
I hope you all have a Merry Christmas! I may post before or on Christmas – I’m doing a 60+ person marching band at a local mall on Christmas Eve – it’s always a lot of fun and the amount of talent in that marching band is pretty impressive. The collection of instruments includes (but is not limited to): electric guitars, banjo, melodica (me), many trumpets and flutes, saxophone, tuba, many drums, cowbell, bells …
Anyhoo – talk soon!
