Spring Trip 2019 – PHL to MAD to BIO – Part 2

OK!  Had a big day today – went to the Guggenheim Museoa, and walked all around Bilbao – 11.2 miles worth!

Unfortunately, I think a million more (or perhaps a hundred more) people checked into our hotel today and the internet is r-e-a-l-l-y slow.  Which means, it is taking forever to upload the 10 million photos I took today.  And, it’s getting late.  And I have to get up early tomorrow for the Tour.  So, I’m going to keep this one short and hope I have time tomorrow to upload today’s photos .

So, here is an abbreviated version of our day today.  More to follow!

Walkway along the river to the Guggenheim.  Kenn was happy to get out today!

View from the bridge in the photo above.  The two cement-looking curvy towers on the left towards the back are part of the Guggenheim.

The bridge I posted a photo of yesterday.  It runs right next to the Guggenheim.

The Guggenheim, complete with ‘spider’ artwork outside!

I tried uploading a few more photos but they have disappeared.  Darn it!

We got lucky and managed to watch part of a parade unfold – having to do with the Mother of Mercy part of catholicism.  I wish I could’ve uploaded those but, just doesn’t seem to want to happen today.  Sorry!

At any rate, it was an awesome day and sooner or later you’ll get to see my pics.  Until then, hasta la vista dear readers!
