The next morning I got up and headed out to see some touristy things. I had most of the day to do some exploring in London, catching the 15:03 train to Pewsey in the afternoon.
First though, I’ll share some photos I took while walking back to the hotel from the Design Museum the previous afternoon:

I just happened to come across this memorial to Animals Used During the War. “They had no choice.”
Then, the next morning, rather than doing room service coffee, or having breakfast in the hotel, I walked a half block down to a nice little coffee shop.
Then, time to clean up and head out to Heddon Street to see where the photo was shot for the cover of the David Bowie album Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars:
Doesn’t really look the same anymore …
Then, on to a visit to the Handel and Hendrix museum on Brook Street. Both Handel and Hendrix lived in the same building (different floors, different times). Hendrix enjoyed knowing that he was living where Handel lived.

A dressing robe like one Handel may have worn. He was quite tall – this robe is in his size, and judging from standing next to it he was probably close to 6 feet tall!
