Catching Up

It’s been a few days since I updated the blog, partly because some days I didn’t really do anything interesting, and partly because I wasn’t in the mood, and partly because I was out and about.

Anyway, here’s another sunrise photo.  I will never tire of this view!
I was in the room getting ready to go out and this nice rainbow showed itself on my TV (which wasn’t on)!

Another big ship being towed into port.  These photos just don’t show how big they are!

River, Adam and Lindsey made it to HI so we got together and went to Hilo to check out the Farmer’s Market among other things.  Below is a cup of ceremonial cacao from Nector, the smoothie place I had mentioned before.  My first time having ceremonial cacao – and it had Rose Oil as well as dried rose leaves in it.  Very delicious!

Nector is at the back of a store that sells crystals etc (I feel like I probably mentioned that before, but oh well).  Lindsey grabbed some Oracle cards and we each picked one.  Here’s mine:

After Nector we headed to Rainbow Falls.  It was kind of overcast so didn’t see a rainbow but it was still pretty nonetheless.

Kenn hung out with me while the other 3 went up this trail (which was closed, which is why I chose not to go)

This is the end of what happened on Saturday 10/30. I did see a HUGE ship come in so here’s some photos of that – actually the first photo is the ship arriving, and the next are the ship departing.  It had a 2 tugboat escort:

Sunday 10/31 I didn’t do much.  Just felt like relaxing, so, only a few sunrise photos.

This bird was hanging out near me, and caught a fish for breakfast!

The next day, 11/1, I went to the Pana’ewa Zoo and Gardens.  It’s free (they accept donations) and it’s small, but it was nice, and it was close to the hotel.  You can’t get particularly close to the animals, but they did interact with me for the most part.  This nice anteater came out to say ‘hi’ and did a pose for me:

They have a white tiger and an orange tiger.  I saw the white one, walked around the zoo, and then went back to look again and saw the orange one, but, didn’t get a pic of him.

Okay, I think that’ll be the end of this post.  Yesterday I went to Kona side with River, Adam and Lindsey so I’ll put that in a separate post.  Talk soon!
