I just put the title in, and I’m not sure I took photos every day so I may mess up what day we did what, but, oh well – you get the gist!
I also previously neglected to mention the ordeal it was to get to the retreat in the first place. I brought my GPS but it was REALLY inaccurate! I had 3 goddesses in the car with me thank Goodness, because if I had been on my own I’d probably still be out there driving around trying to find it LOL! When we left the retreat the last day, I followed River and Adam out, and my GPS did not show the road we were on, so, now, looks like I’ll be using Google Maps for the duration. I am updating the GPS now, but it indicated that the road info is from the Government so we’ll see if the updates are any good or not. When I left the retreat I put coordinates in to go to a little country store on my way and the GPS sent me to the wrong location. That was when I figured out that I’d need to use my phone instead. I haven’t played around in the car to see if it has GPS or not. Maybe later today I will …
Anyway, the chicken in front seemed to like being around me. It was neat – I’d go walk in the grass and the chickens would all come a runnin’ (they did this for everybody). Cool how they liked being around people (although, they did NOT like to be picked up)

Uncle Dave (center) came with some trees for us to plant – a Sandalwood and 2 Ohia trees – we had a ceremony for that and celebrated being part of the reforestation work.

Hibiscus!

Koi pond outside our rooms

Okay, the next post will be about our day in Kona – stay tuned!
