This one will truly be short – I meant to write about this before but I forgot and I want to make sure I capture it. I went to Waimea before I did the Vanilla Farm Tour. Just had enough time to go to the Isaacs Art Center.
It’s in an old schoolhouse with 3 rooms – each room was a Grade in School (4th grade thru 6th grade). There is a lot of fine art and a lot of antiques, some for sale, some not.
But the one thing I want to bring to your attention is Madge Tennent. I had never heard of her but she was way ahead of her time, and her artistic range is amazing. Please check her out – she is an artist that all of us should know about!
