Some Thoughts

I have a bunch of photos to share from Carmel and stuff but not in the mood to take the time to upload them … yet.

But, I am staying at a fantastic motel in Carmel.  My room has a fireplace and fridge.  Carmel is an amazing place with a street down (yes, down a hill) to the ocean.  From the beach you can see Pebble Beach, which I didn’t even realize was Pebble Beach at first.

I met Kyle and Jessica yesterday at a wine tasting.  There was a  guy from Wales whose name escapes me who was serving.  Wales guy was very into a couple who was there when I walked in, the husband of whom worked at some other winery in Napa.  Kyle, Jessica, and I, were, I assume “regular folk.”

Anyway, I ran into Kyle and Jessica again today when I was walking down to see the sunset which I unfortunately missed by a few minutes.

Kyle is a firefighter and Jessica is a nurse.  They are the people who are keeping this country alive and moving.  Thank you Kyle and Jessica!

Sometimes people assume certain things about people, which is a shame.  I think I probably do the same. But, Kyle and Jessica recognized me today before I saw them, and that made me feel very special, because, honestly, they are very special people.  I am thankful for them.

And you all should be thankful for the people who save lives every day like Kyle and Jessica.  So, thank you to them and I hope I see you guys again soon!
