I was walking into town yesterday, and was waiting to cross the street. A car was backing into a spot and was in front of me so I had to wait for them to move further backwards. After they did, I crossed the street and then all of a sudden I hear: “Hellooooo! Are you the lady that goes to KORi??”
I answered Yes (KORi is a wine tasting room in town where I have befriended Michael who works there, so, I hang out with him sometimes) – the question was asked by the woman who was parking the car.
So then I walked back across the street so we could talk more easily and it turned out she remembered me from the last time they were in town (6 months ago??) and enjoyed our conversation so much – she was very excited to see me!
She said they were going to go to KORi at 4pm so I said, okay! I’ll meet you there then! So, I did, and we had a nice time! What a nice surprise!
