I just checked and realized I haven’t posted since October 4, 2024! Oops!
I also realized that I neglected to mention that I finally got Covid – for the first (and hopefully last) time, right around the beginning of September. It was a mild case and I didn’t realize I had it until I finally tested myself 5 days in. And I am currently dealing with a weird rash. Something told me to look up Covid Rash, and it’s a thing! You can get a rash months after having Covid. It’s been a long journey but it’s finally (fingers crossed) on its way out. Yuck!
But the thing that made me finally post again is this. Yesterday I went to my PT appointment and one of the new things she has me doing is using a ball against a wall and rolling it on my glutes. She had a heavy rubber ball (kind of like a lacrosse ball). I told her I had a smaller, harder ball but she thought that might be too much, and suggested I get a tennis ball. I was thinking, “where close-by can I get a tennis ball???”
After the appointment I went to the nearby Indian restaurant and got take-out. While I was waiting, I decided to go into a thrift store that was close. I walked in and the first thing I saw was two big bins full of used (but clean) tennis balls! 25¢ apiece!
