So, after we got back home to England, Bill and Anthea decided we should take a trip to Stourhead. Here’s a link to more info:
https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/stourhead
And, here are some photos! It was a beautiful drive there, and we passed Stonehedge along the way (unfortunately we couldn’t see it from the road we were on though. But, I’ve been there before)

Note this grotto room. And then …

Now check out this one! It’s at Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania!

Anyway, here are some more photos from Stourhead

Kenn enjoyed looking out the window of the little cottage

There are a lot of little buildings and temples around

Then it was time to have lunch at the Spread Eagle Inn

This bird is a huge salt cellar!

Below is a really cool ‘dresser/desk’ – lots of inlaid stone, gold leafing, and lots of little drawers to hold little things (please don’t touch though!)

I did get to play this beautiful Steinway though – they allow people who know how to play, to play. I played Fur Elise by Beethoven. They had the sheet music there. And, an audience gathered around to listen, unbeknownst to me (they were behind me)! Cool!

OK, this is the last shot from Stourhead. Hope you enjoyed them! Next time: more beach pics!
