Okay, I’m pretty sure I have this all out of order, but I do have the place names correct and that’s what counts, right?
All righty then!
First up, another map, just to keep me straight (and help you visualize too!):
On our way home to England, we first stopped at Oxwich Bay for a walk along the beach. We didn’t “paddle” this time, but just walked out and back along the shore. Not much else to mention so enjoy the photos! I will say, though, that these photos do NOT do this place justice! It was sooo beautiful!!
Then on to the Gower Heritage Center. We were excited about going there, thinking we’d learn more about the Gower. As it turns out, though, there wasn’t a whole lot there:
Yep. Other than a Gift Store and a lame restaurant, this was it! We didn’t spend much time here.
Then, a stop at Pobbles Bay (I think that’s where we were) for a bite. This beach was pretty small.

Looking across the Swansea Bay:
Hm. I tried to enlarge this and point out the address but it’s still hard to read. It says: “Salubrious Place.” I just looked up Salubrious and it means healthy. I think I was thinking of ‘Lugubrious’ which means Dismal. I thought the photo would be funny but I guess not!
Okay, so, this is the end of the Wales posts. I have one more for England, this wonderful place we went to called “Stourhead.” I’ll talk about that in the next post.
