As promised (or warned, depending on how you look at it), I am going to give you the list of all the clothes I brought with me. Keep in mind I travelled with my purse, a backpack, and ONE suitcase. And I wasn’t dinged for my suitcase exceeding the weight limit on my flight back from PHX. It took a lot of thought to pack for this trip due to the many changes in climate that I went through. Remember, I experienced rain, snow, hot (Phoenix was 99oF one day) and cold (Truckee got down to 22oF) and everything in between! And, also remember – I had no idea when I was coming back, or where I was going to end up (to a certain extent)
WHAT I BROUGHT:
6 pair underwear, 8 pair socks, 2 camisoles, 1 nightshirt
1 running cami, 1 running skirt, 1 fleece sweatshirt, 1 running shirt
1 pair each: flip flops, running shoes, hiking shoes, boots, slippers
5 T-shirts, 3 long sleeve shirts
3 pair shorts, 1 pair jeans, 1 skort, 1 pair sweatpants
1 light-weight down jacket, 1 rain jacket, 1 rain coat, 1 hooded jacket
1 swimsuit
3 hash shirts, 1 happi coat, 1 red dress
UPDATE: 1 rain hat!
1 metal water bottle
Kenn (of course!)
My cell phone (of course)
1 laptop with mouse
1 Garmin NUVI GPS, with thingie to hold it on the dashboard
24 colored pens (I ended up not doing any drawing – bah!)
1 flashlight
1 headlamp
1 Kindle Fire
Associated chargers
1 Vanity Fair magazine
1 Paris Book Review (never opened it)
Somehow I lost a few pens and a little eyeglass repair kit. Damn!
I also obtained 2 more hash shirts, a Halloween costume, a new sweater, a new faux-fur vest, and some other hash paraphernalia. Admittedly, I had to have my friend Jack send some of my clothes home prior to going to PHX. I knew I wasn’t going to need the sweaters, and at Inter-Am hashes you usually receive some hash giveaways so I wanted to make sure I had room for those.
I wore everything except the red dress!
I was really tempted to go somewhere else after Phoenix, in order to avoid flying and having to schlep my now very-heavy suitcase around. But, I just got too burned out on the planning. But, I like to think I did pretty well being gone for 27 days and still having everything I needed.
Time to plan the next trip!

When are we going to hear about the goat yoga?
