Movin’ On

I was just going to write about moving but then I remembered a very special thing that happened.  I was at the Farmer’s Market saying my goodbyes, and I stopped at the Swallow Hill booth to see Doug and Elizabeth.  I told them about my spiritual journey, and about the Faeries and ET’s and Spirit Guides that have visited me.  Elizabeth said all week she was trying to figure out something small to give me, like maybe a stone from the farm or something, and then they related a story to me about someone who had approached them and given them a small gift that is only given to those that deserve it.  It’s an Angel Coin!  I got pretty verklempt about it – such a beautiful and touching gift!  Here’s a photo:

Anyway, on to moving. Took a cargo van and 2 car loads full of stuff to the beach house yesterday!  Didn’t unpack all boxes but got them in the right places.  Got the credenza set up with my mementos.

I meant to take a photo of the full van because it really was F-U-L L FULL!  Not an ounce of wasted space!  One chair with ottoman, one chest, one credenza, four dining room chairs, a coffee table, an end table, 3 lamps, and a ton of boxes.  Not to mention all the art I had on the walls.

Coming up next is another round of weeding thru my clothes.  I plan to take one suitcase to Hawaii, and send a smaller case to my cousin in CA so it will be waiting for me when I get there.  It was hard for me to think clearly with the house in such a state of disarray from all the boxes and everything.  I think I should be good now.

Spending a few hours at the beach house this morning, going for a walk with my friend Konrad, then heading back home.

Here’s a photo of the empty van – they arrived around 8:30AM, we had it filled by about 11AM, got to the beach house around 2-ish, and van empty by 2:37.  Then they left and I started organizing.  We were like a well-oiled machine!

Not sure when the next post will be but I will definitely keep you posted on my progress!
