Today is Tuesday so I’ve been in Carmel for 3 days now. I started writing a Trip Summary post but it’s going to take me some time to get it done because there are so many details from the trip that I want to look up.
So, I decided to write this post about how it’s been being here and add a bunch of photos.
I arrived Saturday afternoon and really was too tired to do much of anything.
Sunday morning I walked up to Nielsen’s Market to get some groceries. I’ve been in there before, and it wasn’t my favorite, but it is the closest one. And, actually, this time I liked it better. The good part is it’s uphill on the way there and downhill on the way back so at least there’s that.
Got some staples and also picked up a Sunday SF Chronicle. I always used to enjoy the Datebook section which includes a lot of what’s going on around the bay area, and music and entertainment stuff too.
After I got back and put things away, I decided to go for a nice walk. Here are some photos:
I carried this very full bag for 3 blocks! What was I thinking?? Ha ha!

Today I walked to Safeway (about 2 miles one-way). I’ll do a separate post about that. Talk soon!
