When Karen was here visiting, I came across a little book sitting on a rock next to the road. I picked it up and found a little piece of paper that indicated I could take it. So I did!

I thought it was really cool! I looked up the Art Abandonment group on Facebook and posted a photo of the book and said where I found it. I also added a little note to it and plan to re-release it to the wild probably later today!
And I felt motivated to make one of my own to leave somewhere too! I went to the local little stationery store and got some stuff. I told the woman there what I was doing and she gave me a pretty bag that she was going to recycle (it was ripped) so I could use it in the book. I didn’t use it for this first book I made but I plan to hold on to it.

I didn’t have as much fancy paper as the person who made the one I found but I think it came out all right.
I had some interesting things happen around town so I’ll save those til my next post. Stay tuned!
