Oops! I completely forgot to add all of the things I did when I was up in Oregon! Just noticed it today, so I’ll be playing catch-up (as you can tell from the title)
So, while I was staying with Jay and Carolyn in Freshwater, they took me on a couple jaunts to nearby places. First up, Ferndale!
There is a little park in town that has really cool sculptures, and this great quote:

Then we left town and drove down the road around Ferndale – beautiful and desolate all at once:
