Another Coinkeedink

Last week I decided to visit a little shop in town called The Nut Hut  https://thenuthut.com/.  They have a bunch of different things, including nuts (of course) and other little giftie things.  I’ve walked past there quite a few times but finally decided to stop in.

I ended up meeting Miguel, one of the partners.  We were talking about how I ended up in Carmel, what kinds of stuff they sell there, and about this friend of his who sells amazing, gigantic crystals.  I’m pretty sure I can’t afford to buy any of them but they are beautiful – here’s a link to her website: https://crystalwoman.com/.

Anyway, we were standing there talking, and out of the corner of my eye I saw a family walking by right outside the (open) door.  Then I heard, “I know you!”  I turned to look and didn’t immediately recognize the person, so I said, “You do??”

Well, it turns out it was my painting teacher from back in the day when I was taking art classes in Kennett Square, PA.  Our last in-person class was right before the shutdown for the pandemic.  Turns out they own a home in Carmel and spend roughly half their time here!  Who knew??

She said she was going to do some ‘sip and paint’ events over the summer so maybe I’ll do one of those.

Pretty wild coincidence!  (or, are there really ANY coincidences? …….)
