Lost wallet!

Boy did I have a day the other day.  Went to the Farmer’s Market and got a lot of good stuff.  Had a PT appointment later that day so went home, had some lunch, and decided to clean up the cash I had in my purse.  I try to pay with exact change at the farmer’s market as much as possible and I end up cramming cash back in my purse without any organization until I get back home.

So, after I ate lunch I decided to clean up my cash.  And then I discovered it.  My wallet was not in my purse!!!!  Oh no!!!!!  I checked every pocket of my purse but got nothing!!!

I remembered pulling out a change purse to pay at one stall, and thought that maybe my (small) wallet got caught on it and got pulled out and fell and I didn’t notice.  So, I ran back to the farmer’s market.  It wasn’t at that stall. Told the farmer’s market manager.  Nobody turned it in.  I went to the nearby library.  Nobody turned it in there either.  Called the Police Dept.  Nope.

Went home and put a freeze on my debit card and one of my credit cards.

But by this time I had to go to my appointment so off I went.  I got there a little early so I scrolled through the photos on my phone to see if I could at least find a photo of my drivers license (I found it!), just in case.  I remembered to bring my check book so I could pay (although they offered to ‘loan’ me the appointment until I got everything straightened out, which was nice)

After the appointment I just went back home.  I had been planning to hit Whole Foods but without my cards I just didn’t feel like it.

All the while I had been praying to my angels and guides to please bring my wallet back.  In my gut I felt I would get it back.  I asked my pendulum if I would get it back.  Yes.  I asked if I would get it back today.  Yes!!

Got home and decided to go for a walk.  I went back to where the farmer’s market was to double-check.  Stopped back in at the library.  Stopped in a furniture store nearby just in case.  Walked up to the police dept.  Nope.

My friend Christina was working at a local art gallery so I thought I’d go visit her.  I went in, sat down and told her what happened.  We lamented about it for a while and then I had the thought to rifle through my purse again.  Nothing in this pocket, nothing in that pocket but then … what was that flash of color in my phone pocket????

YAAAAYYYYY!!!!!  It was my wallet!!!!  I have no idea how it got there but I gratefully thanked the universe for its return.  And now I’m going to change things up – take one credit card out so I have a backup in case something happens again.  And definitely pay more attention when I’m playing with my money at the farmer’s market!!  Whew!!
