The Stats Part 1 (Roads Covered)

Since I am recovering from the Inter-Am, jet lag, living out of my suitcase for 27 days, and getting used to the lovely humidity of the east coast, I didn’t do much today.

Did some laundry.  Stocked up at the grocery store.  And I did the statistics, routes, and clothing count for my trip.

Here goes.  Map geeks can follow along on a map!

UPDATE:  I just went thru my GPS logs.  Not counting when I actually knew where I was going, I put in over 1,400 miles in my rental car!  I rented it as I left Boise, and took it back when I flew from SFO to PHX.

GROUND COVERED:
9/14 (Day 1):  Flew from PHL to BOI
9/15-9/23 (Days 2-10):

Drove to Boomtown Casino, NV via Hwy 84 to Hwy 55 to Hwy 95 via McDermitt (on the border between OR and NV), drove thru ID, OR and into NV.

Finally home.  And ready to wear some different clothes!

It’s hard to imagine being away from home for such a long time, and I couldn’t have done it without being able to stay with all my wonderful friends – I won’t name you all here, but THANK YOU for being such great hosts!

I’ll let you know the clothing count on my next post!
