OK, we are now in Llanes (pronounced “yahness”). We have good internet here. We hiked 9.12 miles today including today’s hike plus incidental walks. Needless to say I’m tired, and had a great meal and drinks and now somewhat buzzed as well.
And now I have to write at least 2 days worth of blog-worthy info. Whilst enjoying a nice buzz. Good luck to those of you reading this!
OK. So, let’s see. 2 days ago. That would be Friday. We went to the Guggenheim Museum. Forgive me if I duplicate because I don’t want to go back and look to see what I posted already!
We had tix to the Guggenheim for 11am. Got there promptly.
Saw some cute entertainment outside, and went into the wrong entrance, meaning we had to go down a bunch of stairs to get to the right place. Here are some pix:

And here is some other stuff. FYI, I know things are out of order and may appear somewhat chaotic here, but, you know, I AM on the frickin’ El Camino de Santiago! I should be hiking rather than worrying about blogging – at least for now! I will (hopefully) provide a more concise time-consistent blog after I return. Then our tour moved on to Gaztelugatxe. It was featured on Season 7 of Game of Thrones but I’ve been wanting to go there for a while. Unfortunately I didn’t get to do the steps but next time …

So, I caught you up some. And I can barely keep my eyes open. But I will catch up.
We started the REI Hiking Trip yesterday, and have been hiking around at least 8 miles per day. We have a great group and our Trip Leaders are amazing!
But, with good camaraderie and exercise comes fatigue, so good night for now. I will hopefully catch up with you tomorrow at our next hotel which should have wifi!
