I went back down to the beach a few days later when the sun was out. From the following photos you can really tell how much sand eroded away. From what I understand, this happens often during winter storms but perhaps a bit more than usual this time. Anyway, also from what I hear the sand will build itself up again later in the year, so all’s good.
So, here are some more photos!
All the big rocks you see below were not visible at all in December. Beach still closed but a hardy soul decided to go for a walk anyway. The waves break a lot farther out now too.
