I had a couple weird things happen with eggs this week. I usually have an egg or two for breakfast.
The first thing that happened was, I had some veggies sauteing in a pan, and broke the egg to put it in but I saw thru the little crack that whatever was inside the egg was black. It startled me so I let out a little scream and accidentally dropped it into the pan. Then I had to fish it out with my spatula and put it in my compost holder.
I think it was a chick, but I didn’t really want to find out for sure. I buy my eggs at the farmer’s market in town so, it’s not completely out of the question. if it was, then poor thing! Thank God it wasn’t one of the eggs I hardboiled that week. That would have been even worse!
Then, a few days later, I cracked open an egg and not only was it double-yolked but it was twins! They were stuck together!
Eesh!
To be honest I’m a little scared to crack open another egg in that dozen. So, I’m giving it to somebody else LOL!
