The Hyatt Regency had a really great breakfast buffet – it was only a $5 add on but was worth way more than that! Glad I did it!
To get into Hawaii one must either test negative for COVID within 3 days of travelling, or upload proof of vaccination. You also have to fill out your travel info (flight numbers, where you’re staying, etc). Within 24 hours of flying you have to fill out a health questionnaire. Then you get a QR code. It turns out that many airlines will “pre-check” your info, and approve your QR code before your flight, in which case you get this armband. If you don’t pre-check, then you need to be checked once you land. I probably walked past 100 people who didn’t pre-check, and from what I read you could be delayed leaving the airport by 1-2 hours!
First class again but this time not as much leg room. I had a nice guy next to me though – he works as an interior designer and one of his clients is Oprah!

Coming into Honolulu:
Honolulu Airport – it was pretty small. Was kind of confusing getting off the plane because we were told to walk in a certain direction which took us outside. I was worried because I had a connecting flight and was concerned I was going to go ‘out’ of the airport and have to go through security again, but all was good.
