I was walking back home from being in town and had the thought that I should tip my UPS guy. Continue reading “A Nice Little Synchronicity”
Wow!
Yesterday I had a reading with my friend Kristen White who is a psychic medium. (By the way – she is amazing – here is a link to her website: https://livingfullwellness.com/ ) Our conversation was very deep and healing. At one point we were talking about my grandmother. Continue reading “Wow!”
Yet Another Surprise
One night last week I was watching TV when I received a message on Facebook (FB) messenger. I looked at it and it was from my work friend Jenna, who I haven’t talked in quite a while. It should come as no surprise at this point, but I had been thinking about her! Continue reading “Yet Another Surprise”
A Nice Coincidence
I was walking into town yesterday, and was waiting to cross the street. A car was backing into a spot and was in front of me so I had to wait for them to move further backwards. After they did, I crossed the street and then all of a sudden I hear: “Hellooooo! Are you the lady that goes to KORi??” Continue reading “A Nice Coincidence”
The Missing Package
Hay House has been showing up in my FB feed a lot lately, and recently they announced that everything in their store was 50% off, so I decided to order some stuff. Continue reading “The Missing Package”
I Won A Painting! (and heard some great classical music)
The Bach Festival was here in Carmel for the last 2 weeks of July. I went to 3 different concerts over the course of those weeks. The first one I went to was on my birthday – “Into The Light: Songs of Beginnings.” This one was held at All Saints Church – walking distance away! Continue reading “I Won A Painting! (and heard some great classical music)”
A Surprising Day
Yesterday I had nothing on my calendar! So, first, I cleaned the floors. Vacuumed and then damp mopped. I used an eCloth swiffer-type mop. If you haven’t used eCloth products before, check them out! All you need is water and they remove 99% of all bacteria. https://us.e-cloth.com/
Then I strolled to the post office to check my mail, and then I decided to go to the Dawson Cole Gallery in town. I hadn’t been in in a long time. Here’s their link: https://www.carmel.dawsoncolefineart.com/ Continue reading “A Surprising Day”
An Amazing Opportunity!
When I first got to Carmel, I met Rich. Rich publishes a magazine called 65/57. 65 is the average temperature in Carmel, and 57 is the average temperature in Napa.
I mentioned to Rich that I paint, and one day he asked if I could show him my work. So, I pulled up my blog, went to the My Artwork page and handed my phone over. As he scrolled, he said stuff like “I like that one” or “that one is nice.” And then he said, how about we do a piece about you for the July issue? Continue reading “An Amazing Opportunity!”
Weird Earring Happenings
In the past 2 weeks I’ve had some weird earring coincidences.
First, I travelled back to Delaware to check on the house and find some clothes to send to myself. First day into my trip, the earrings that I was wearing broke! Continue reading “Weird Earring Happenings”
I Love “Randomness”
The other day I bought a little decorative hanging thingie. I was going to hang it in the opening between the kitchen and the living room, but when I showed it to a friend of mine who was here, she said I should hang it in a window. Continue reading “I Love “Randomness””
A Familiar Song
Back in 2018, I posted about a song – here is an exerpt:
OMG. I’m listening to the Light Classical station and the song they’re playing is the song my washer and dryer play when they’re done! Liszt “Die Forelle/The Trout.” I was sitting here thinking ‘that sounds so familiar …’ That is so hilarious! Who knew? Continue reading “A Familiar Song”
Another (funny) coinkeedink
My usual morning routine includes sometimes watching ‘Kelly and Ryan.’ And sometimes, when it’s over I leave the TV on – it’s followed by The Price is Right. A few months ago I left the TV on and was kind of listening as I did stuff around the house, when I heard “your prize is a 3 night / 4 day trip to Carmel California!!!” Continue reading “Another (funny) coinkeedink”
Another Coinkeedink
Last week I decided to visit a little shop in town called The Nut Hut https://thenuthut.com/. They have a bunch of different things, including nuts (of course) and other little giftie things. I’ve walked past there quite a few times but finally decided to stop in. Continue reading “Another Coinkeedink”
Catching Up and Another Miracle
Once I arrived in Carmel I found a few workshops that I was interested in, starting with some at Pilgrim’s Way Community Bookstore and Secret Garden https://www.pilgrimsway.com/. Consider this local bookstore if you’re looking to get a book – they have an extensive website and can order books for you. Plus they’re just a cool little store! Continue reading “Catching Up and Another Miracle”
A Big Miracle
(I just want to make an aside note here – I couldn’t log into the blog one day in November. After several attempts, I did a Google search and it said something about needing to change my cookie settings, which made no sense to me, so I sat on things for a while because I didn’t feel like dealing with it. At any rate, a few days ago I had the idea to put in a trouble ticket with the people that host my blogsite, ICDSoft. They not only fixed the issue and replied within about 2 minutes, but they showed me what the fix was. There was some coding that had fancy quotes – the curved ones, instead of the simple ones like this one: ‘ and they had to change them to the simple ones and I was back in business! YAY! and kudos to ICDSoft – they are GREAT if you’re ever looking for someplace to host your stuff! Okay, now, on with the show!) Continue reading “A Big Miracle”
