Feeling the Feels

Okay, this is going to be a hard one for me to post.  After the retreat I had a breakthrough – a big one.  I ended up writing about it by hand with two cats purring by my feet, while sitting in the sun.  So, I’m just going to type what I wrote.  The breakthrough happened on the same day that I went to the Botanical Adventures Garden.  I promised myself that I was going to go ‘deep’ in the blog in order to be absolutely transparent and authentic to my Self.  Here goes:

On My Way

It’s been a whirlwind past couple of days.  Today is Saturday 10/23.  On Thursday I finished organizing and packing, and then Jim and Myrna came to pick me up to take me to the errands I had to run and ultimately to my friend Cilla’s house where I would be staying for the night. Movin’ On

I was just going to write about moving but then I remembered a very special thing that happened.  I was at the Farmer’s Market saying my goodbyes, and I stopped at the Swallow Hill booth to see Doug and Elizabeth.  I told them about my spiritual journey, and about the Faeries and ET’s and Spirit Guides that have visited me.  Continue reading “Movin’ On”

Big Changes

I posted this on FB and thought I should add it here too:

Dear FB Friends – I wanted to let you know that big changes are happening in my life. Almost a year ago, on October 7, 2020, I took the first step in a Spiritual Journey that I didn’t even realize at the time that I was starting.
I had a Tarot reading with a special person who became my Spiritual Coach. I didn’t know what that meant at the time, but I felt called to do it. Throughout the following 9 months of coaching, I learned a lot, healed a lot (My Soul and My Heart), grew a lot and changed a lot. My intuition has grown incredibly. I am still learning, healing, growing and changing.
I am being strongly pulled to shake up my life, so I am selling the house that I’ve lived in for 33 years. The best part is, I’m selling it to my ex-husband’s wife’s son (it feels weird to call him a stepson, so I’m not), so the house is staying in the family.

Road Trip Spring 2021 – Part 7 – Glen Arbor

I had some time to myself so decided to do a little exploring.  After my day with Dawn and realizing that things really weren’t very far from where I was staying, I decided to go to Glen Arbor and check things out.  The weather turned hot, and I brought mainly cooler weather clothing for the trip so I was hoping I might find a little sundress or something that would be cooler to wear. Road Trip Spring 2021 – Part 1 – Home to Warren OH

Yeah, welp, it’s been quite a while since I posted here.  Sorry about that!  I guess I really didn’t feel like I had much to post about.  I have done some paintings in between and perhaps I will post about them later, but, I do want to document my road trip before I forget more things.

So, in a previous post or two I’ve mentioned River, with whom I had a Tarot reading back in October.  As it turns out, he became my Spiritual Coach and we’ve been working together on that since October, meeting once a week via Zoom.  A few months ago we talked about meeting up in person, and in the last month or so we decided that the latter part of May would be a good time to do so.  My 2 weeks after being fully vaccinated was up on May 3 so the timing felt right. Latest Painting

I met River a few weeks ago – had a Tarot card reading with him – and felt strongly compelled to do a painting for him.  He and I connected very deeply on many levels.  If you would like a reading with him, you can book an appointment with him here:

I originally had one thing in my head, but, I felt it wasn’t enough.  So, then I remembered a mural I had seen when I was at a yoga studio in Santa Barbara, and decided that I would paint something similar for him. Continue reading “Latest Painting”

Nail in my Tire!

I decided to spend a few days at the beach, which is about 2 hours away by car.  Packed up and headed out.  About an hour into the drive my car said it sensed low air pressure in one of the tires.  I’ve gotten this ‘alarm’ if the tires are just low (like with temp changes).  I took my hands off the wheel to check if the car was veering at all and it wasn’t, so I figured I’d wait til I got to the beach to check the air in the tires. On The Road Again

Hi kids –

I am now in Calistoga, CA after sadly leaving Boise (I LOVE IT THERE).  Had a great time hanging with the guys.  Surprised at how well we all got along after all these years.  Here we are, photo complete with a ‘Lodi Ave’ sign that one of them ‘borrowed’ from the city of San Mateo.  We all autographed it for posterity.  And who looks the youngest 😉 ?
